Each original artwork was lovingly designed and illustrated by Leonie Merle in our studio using watercolors. Unique, colorful, and meticulously detailed – inspired by the beauty of nature and the many stories that life tells.
Museum-quality fine art prints
Our art prints are printed in our studio using the highest quality, lightfast pigment inks on 200g/m² art paper. This gives them a truly unique brilliance. The paper's soft surface texture gives our prints a sophisticated look and feel.
We deliberately work analogously, using classic watercolor techniques. With brushstrokes that are allowed to remain visible, with layers of paint that touch, overlap, and come alive. Our motifs tell quiet stories – inspired by nature, by the everyday, by the magic in the inconspicuous.

Hey, we are Leonie & Jörn. We founded Atelier Leo la Douce in 2016 as a small design label specializing in illustration and stationery. In our studio, we design, illustrate, design, and package every product ourselves.
