Hand-painted illustrations
Each original artwork was lovingly designed and illustrated by Leonie Merle in our studio using watercolors. Unique, colorful, and meticulously detailed – inspired by the beauty of nature and the many stories that life tells.
Special cards for special moments
Our postcards are made with love. The designs are hand-painted and printed on high-quality, warm white natural paper. Thanks to the paper's soft surface texture, our cards have an elegant look and feel.
We deliberately work analogously, using classic watercolor techniques. With brushstrokes that are allowed to remain visible, with layers of paint that touch, overlap, and come alive. Our motifs tell quiet stories – inspired by nature, by the everyday, by the magic in the inconspicuous.

Hey, we're Leonie & Jörn. We founded Atelier Leo la Douce in 2016 as a small design label specializing in illustration and stationery. In our studio, we design, illustrate, design, and package every product ourselves.
